Reception Reading Talk

Reception Reading Talk – Thursday 6^th October 2022

 

On Thursday 6th October, the Reception team would like to invite you into school to share the many ways you can support your child as they are learning to read at home.

The event will take place at 9am in the school sports hall and will last approximately 30 minutes.

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a bacon roll and a hot drink.

At the beginning of the same week, your child will be issued with their first reading book, along with a diary in which you record each time you share a text together.

In order to prolong the life of our books, please provide your child with a ‘book bag’ or any other suitable bag to enable them to safely transport their book to and from school.

Prior to the event, please complete the slip below and return to your child’s class teacher.
