Next week, all of the children will be taking part in an art week. Each year group will be studying the work of a particular artist and the children will be creating some masterpieces of their own. On Friday, we will be holding an exhibition in school and we would love you to come and have a look at the children’s work. The exhibition will be open from 8.15am – 8.45am (before school) and from 3.15pm-3.45pm. We really hope to see you there.
A reminder to all parents and carers of Year 6 children, that we are holding a special celebration (in school) on Thursday 18th July, at 10am. We will open the Harris Avenue gates at 9.45am, but please do not park on Harris Avenue, as we do not wish to upset our neighbours.
We are looking forward to seeing the children at the Y6 Prom on Thursday evening. Children can arrive from 6.30pm (there is no early finish to the school day on Thursday). Please use the staff car park when dropping off your child. The evening finishes at 8.30pm, so please ensure that your child is collected promptly. Thanks to the Year 6 staff team, for organising such special celebrations, to mark this important time.
On Monday 7th October, Tempest will be taking individual and sibling group photographs in school. Nursery children, who do not normally attend Nursery on Mondays, are invited to come into school after lunch, to have their photographs taken. More details to follow nearer the time.
