Tempest Photography will be present in school on Monday 8th November to undertake individual and family photographs. Please ensure children arrive in school on time and look ‘extra smart’ in their full school uniform. Children in Year 4 may have their photograph taken wearing their PE kit, or alternatively wear their uniform and bring their PE kit in a bag to change into.

Although you will have probably already met your child’s teacher on the playground, we would love to invite you into school on Thursday 22/9/22, from 3.30-4pm, to visit classrooms, see some of your children’s art work and have a chat. Our leadership team will also be around during this time – please introduce yourself and have a chat with us too – it is always nice to meet the parents of our pupils. Please note: if your child is in Mrs Truelove’s class (Y3) or Mr Partington’s class (Y3), their Meet the Teacher session will be on Wednesday 21/9/22 from 3.30-4pm.

To support the charity ‘Jeans for Genes’, pupils are invited to wear jeans instead of their usual trousers, skirts or pinafores next Friday. Trainers can be worn, but the upper part of uniform should still be worn please (polo shits and Waterloo jumpers). There will be a special assembly next week, to tell the children all about the charity. A donation of £1 is requested, if your child would like to wear their jeans (a maximum of £2 per family) all of which will go directly to the charity. On Friday 7th October, we will be holding a non-uniform day in return for a donation. Street Angels have politely requested the following items – all of which are non-perishable. Coffee Sugar Long-life milk Pot Noodles Tins of soup Tins of tuna Tins of meat (e.g. corned beef) Shower gel Shampoo Conditioner Please bring any of the suggested items above into school on the morning of Friday 7th October.
