Your child should have brought their card ‘hat’ home today.  We intend to have our Easter Bonnet parade on Thursday 28th March (the last day of term), we shall be guided by the weather as to where it will be held, outside or in the Sports Hall. The parade will begin at 9:15am, when all classes from Reception to Year 6 will walk the Easter bonnet catwalk. Please save the date and come and support all of the children. All pupils who enter will receive a chocolate egg, and one special prize per class, will be awarded for the winning bonnet.  [...]

As part of our celebrations, on Thursday April 11th (first Thursday back), we are inviting the children to dress in clothes relevant to the Edwardian era (see the letter which was sent home earlier this week). During the day, the children will participate in a variety of activities associated with schools from the early 1900s. After school, from 3:30pm until 4:30pm, parents will be able to view photographs, log book entries and learn more about the history of the school. The display will be situated in the Old Hall.

On Friday April 12th, the children will be able to dress in their own ‘party clothes’ as we will be holding a special birthday lunch with music, decorations and food. All children who normally have a school dinner, will automatically be catered for, but we sent a letter home offering any children who normally bring a packed lunch, the opportunity to purchase a one-off school lunch for this event, should they wish to do so.
